Liquid Room: float - yoga - massage

Did you know that the first float tank was developed in the 1950's...and has remained pretty much unchanged since then? Well Ivy, at Liquid Room in Sandringham (Melbourne, Australia) has gone one step further, and had a number of float ROOMS installed.

For those of you like me, for whom being enclosed in a relatively small capsule seems somewhat terrifying, these rooms are such a fabulous, spacious alternative. For all those non-claustrophobic, brave souls out there, these rooms are more of a lovely luxury...And that's exactly what Liquid Room is; luxurious.

Owner, Ivy Everden's obvious passion and true belief in the lifestyle, services and experiences offered at Liquid room, truly shines through. Recently i experienced my first ever float session; and it was wonderful. From being greeted by name, to the contemporary, luxurious (there's that word again) amenities, and of course not to forget the float experience itself, my entire visit to Liquid Room was welcoming, warm and incredibly relaxing. As well as the flotation rooms (single and double rooms available), there are also numerous yoga classes on offer, in a modern, breathtaking studio. Just when you think you couldn't get any more zen, there are also five different styles of massage available.
